Forget World of Warcraft. NASA is taking MMO to the next level. NASA is currently in the early stages of planning a virtual eniverment that can educate people about rocket science and technology.

According to NASA “The goal of this virtual world is to create a “synthetic environment” that could serve as “tools for teaching a range of complex subjects,” giving users experience with pertinent scenarios such as “chemical reactions in living cells, practice operating and repairing expensive equipment, and experience microgravity.”
